Rhyme: Little Miss Muffet

Rhyme: Diddle, Diddle, Dumpling
Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my son John
Went to bed with his sweatpants on;
One shoe off, and the other shoe on,
Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my son John.

Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my little Sue
Fell asleep in her jeans so blue.
One shoe old, and one shoe new,
Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my little Sue.

Song/Flannel: “Mary had a Little Lamb”
We sang “Mary Had a Little Lamb” and substituted “fleece as white as show” with the color of the sheep and something it was the same color as.
Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb
Mary had a little lamb its fleece was ORANGE as ORANGES!

Additional verses:
…green as grass.
…purple as grapes.
…red as cherries.
…blue as blueberries.
We ended with “white as snow.”

Hickory Dickory Dock,
the mouse ran up the clock,
the clock struck 1, the mouse ran down
Hickory Dickory Dock!

Additional verses:
…the clock struck 2, the mouse said “Boo!”
…the clock struck 3, the mouse said, “Whee!”
